Tourists Win EuroMillions Jackpot After Stopping at a Tobacco Shop in Hautes-Pyrénées
A couple of tourists on vacation in the Hautes-Pyrénées have won the EuroMillions jackpot.
The tourists stopped at a tobacco shop in the center of Bagnères-de-Bigorre and purchased a ticket for the July 19 draw. The ticket matched all five main numbers and both Lucky Stars, winning the couple the jackpot prize of over €100 million.
The winning numbers were 15, 22, 35, 44, and 48, and the Lucky Stars were 6 and 7.
The couple, who have not been identified, are said to be in their 60s and from the United Kingdom. They were on vacation in the Hautes-Pyrénées when they decided to stop at the tobacco shop and buy a ticket.
The couple has said that they plan to use the money to travel and spend more time with their family and friends.
